Whether starting your university journey, here's everything you need to know to apply to the University of London.
Making an application
Once you are ready to apply, follow the steps below:
Apply for a course through its dedicated course page. You can also apply to study our modules individually in many cases.
Remember to attach any available documents we need and if applicable pay any application fee. We won't be able to process your application fully until we have received everything we need. However, you can still apply whilst you gather outstanding documentation. We will then write to you requesting this evidence.
To apply for your prior learning to be accredited, please complete the relevant section on the application form.
We acknowledge your application by email within 24 hours. This includes a student reference number in case you need to contact us about your application.
You have until the registration deadline to accept an offer and pay your initial fees. We send you your study materials as soon as they become available.
Applying with Institute in Paris
All candidates for our undergraduate courses in Paris should apply through UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions System).
Shortlisted candidates are invited for a phone or online interview. When possible, interviews are held before the annual Applicant Open Day, otherwise known as "Journée de Rencontres", which normally takes place in April. This event gives applicants and their guests an opportunity to meet staff and current students as well as to find out more about the University of London Institute in Paris.
Applications should be made online at www.ucas.com. You will need to enter the following details:
- Institution code name: ULIP
- Institution code: P26

Applications for our postgraduate programmes in Paris are made directly through either the University of London Institute in Paris or Queen Mary University of London. You can find an application link on the webpage for your course.
School of Advanced Study
The School of Advanced Study offer postgraduate programmes (MA, MRes, LLM, MPhil, and PhD) in a wide range of humanities subjects. In addition to these campus-based programmes, the School of Advanced Study offer distance learning PhDs and master’s degree programmes.
