Postgraduate (Master's degrees) Entry Routes
We offer a range of MA and MSc degrees, as well as a Master of Laws (LLM) and the Global MBA.
You will normally require a bachelor's degree and a high level of English to be admitted. Some courses also have more specific requirements, such as work experience or mathematics. (See the course pages for more detail.)
Some courses have flexible entry options and may admit you to the Postgraduate Certificate in the first instance. (With suitable progress, you will be able to proceed to the MA / MSc awards.)
Several of our master’s degrees have a number of entry points per year, so you don’t need to wait to get started with us.
Postgraduate Certificate
Equivalent to one-third of the requirements of a master's degree. If you complete this successfully, you may be able to progress to the related Postgraduate Diploma or master's programme with credit for the modules you have passed.
Postgraduate Diploma

How you study
All of our postgraduate courses are designed for you to study by distance learning. You’ll usually receive a complete study pack and access to the world’s top academic journals via our Online Library.
A small number of our master’s degrees, including the MSc Professional Accountancy and the Master of Laws, may be supported by a University of London Recognised Teaching Centre in your country.
