What happens next?
Once you have applied, we will send you an email acknowledgement within 24 hours. This will contain a student reference number that can be used at any point of enquiry about your application.
We reach a decision
Within five working days*, we aim to send you one of the following responses:
- Your application is approved. We send you an offer letter.
Congratulations! The next step is to register online and pay your fees (see below).
- We require more information and/or evidence
We tell you what we need to see before we can issue an offer.
- We have referred your application
The panel is making a decision, considering issues such as experience or reasons for study.
- Unfortunately, you do not meet the requirements
We will advise you how to become eligible in the future. You may appeal this decision, see admissions appeals procedure.
*Please note: Whilst we endeavour to meet this target, it can take up to 15 working days to respond as and when we get close to an application deadline. Therefore, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
The registration process
The interval between application and registration deadlines varies. We will send you instructions to guide you through the process.
Once you have received an offer to study, you will need to pay your fees and register formally. Your offer letter will detail your registration deadlines and other significant dates.
We send you instructions to help you through this process, including the following key information:
Deadline
The registration deadline can range from one week to two months after the application deadline. The interval is often shorter where the programme offers several intakes per year.
Fees
The fees due at registration depend on your programme and how much you are required to pay up-front. Your programme may include a separate registration fee and pay-as-you-go or full-fee options.
Fee details are provided on our programme pages, and in greater detail in our fee schedules.
