Building with Biology: Introduction to Biochemical Engineering (UC19259)
Taster course information>
In this course we'll explore the fundamentals of biology and synthetic biology using case studies on how Biochemical Engineers are helping to develop sustainable solutions to real-world problems using biology.
This course is particularly suitable for students who would like a course where they can combine engineering with sciences, or who are interested in a career in the growing sector of biotechnology and biochemical engineering.
Course requirements
This taster course is open to students in Year 11 and Year 12.
Student must be studying Mathematics or Biology or Chemistry at A Level (or equivalent) OR a minimum of two science subjects
