We are thrilled to announce our 2025 Brunel Taster Day: Festival of Social Sciences! This will take place at Brunel, University of London on Monday 07th July, 9:30-15:00.
This is an exciting event where students will be introduced to an array of disciplines within Brunel’s Department of Social and Political Sciences, including: Anthropology, Criminology, Geography, Global Challenges, History, Journalism, Media and Communications, Politics and Sociology. Pitched at Year 11/12/13 students, this Taster Day will take the form of previous years and revolve around a series of interactive workshops that draw directly from the experiences of Brunel’s world-leading Social Scientists, who between them conduct research in every continent across the globe.
In addition to these workshops, you will hear from our current students about what it’s like to study at Brunel, along with the variety of careers that await. Lunch and light refreshments will also be provided for all attendees, and a campus tours will be available.
Students will be able to make their session selections for the day on the registration form. Please fill this out by Thursday 3rd July, so that your first choice can be prioritised. For more information on the programme and subject descriptions, please email [email protected].
Course requirements
This taster course is open to students in Year 11 (GCSE or equivalent year), Year 12, Year 13 (final year A Level/IB students) or anyone who is thinking of starting their undergraduate studies in September 2025 or in September 2026.
