This session offers an introduction to basic pattern cutting, using simple shapes which will be adapted to make patterns for a bodice, sleeve, and skirt.
Work in pairs using a mannequin to create and display the patterns. The pattern manipulation will be led by the course tutor Caroline with the opportunity to work independently to suggest any details such as cuffs, collars, frills etc.
Please note this session will not include any sewing techniques and garments will only be suitable for display purposes. Equipment for the session will be provided.
