SCU is a key comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education, China. Over more than 100 years of development, SCU has built a high reputation in academic research and teaching, and has established contacts and cooperative relationships with over 250 renowned colleges and universities as well as research institutes from 34 countries and regions. CIS (College of International Studies) in SCU was established in 1979 and it is well-known for jointly-run programs with foreign universities. As one of these excellent programs, UDA has sent many students to excellent universities in the world for further studies through jointly-run programs with foreign universities.
Welcome from the centre
On behalf of the staff of the UDA (University Direct Admission) programme, I’d like to welcome you to join an exciting IFP (International Foundation Programme) in the College of International Studies in SCU (Sichuan University), located in southwest of China. As an official Recognized Teaching Centre of the University of London, the UDA program will offer the IFP in the coming fall semester of 2020. All the courses offered will be guided by the University of London, and taught by the faculties of Sichuan University in English. Therefore, the high quality of teaching and a nurturing environment will be guaranteed. I believe, with the support of both excellent Universities, the IFP will benefit many students in China, who will contribute to the world in the future.
