Why you should study at RVC
Prior 2019, the college was ranked the top veterinary school in Europe, and top three in the world, for three years in a row. It is the largest and longest-established veterinary school in the English-speaking world.
The RVC was also ranked in the UK’s top 10 for biosciences and received a TEF Gold award for the quality of teaching, learning environment, and educational and professional outcomes achieved by students.
The Royal Veterinary College was established in 1791 and joined the University of London in 1949
The College supports a practical learning experience, where students are exposed to a small animal referral hospital, a first-opinion practice, an equine hospital, a farm, diagnostic services and the opportunity to continue professional development. The small animal referrals hospital is the largest and most highly regarded teaching hospital in Europe, with Europe’s greatest concentration of 95 veterinary specialists (from over 20 countries), and treats over 7,000 cases each year.
